Welcome to Schermars Chihuahua page, we are specializing in high Quality & Healthy Chihuahuas. We breed for personality, conformation, and intelligence. Our Chihuahuas are part of our family and we don't breed them every time, with only a limited amount of litters. We do not always have puppies, we believe in quality not quantity. We usually have a few exceptional litters each year.
We have raised Chihuahuas for 14 years now, and we know the bloodlines and history of my dogs, making it easier to predict the future health, size, and temperament of our puppies, cutting down on chances of health problems or congenital defects. Our puppies leave with health guarantees, up to date on all shots & worming. We do keep our babies till they are eight weeks old and some longer if we feel they need it.
Here are photo's of some of our babies, some we breed and some we don't. None of them are for sell as they are our babies. They have heated housing in the cooler months, and plenty of shade in the summer months. We have been working on our blood line for a long time and are proud of it.

 This is Buster, he was our first Chihuahua, he is getting old now and we don't use him to breed much anymore. He sleeps with us, greets me the first thing when I get home from work each day and I look forward to it. He is almost human. 4.5 lbs Click on his photo to see more. |

Well June 12th 2006 was a very sad day, we found out Princess our 2nd Chihuahua was dying, her heart as big as it was, is tired and giving up after 14 years, she died at 4:00 PM on June 13th 2006 in our home. Buster laid with her for four hours after and he has been so sad since. As you can see she was almost blind and Buster lead her around for years. We are not ready to remove her photo just yet. |
